Just wondering if anyone has fitted cruise to there early E gas 996? As I've just done this at the weekend and was wondering if the cruise light should light up when i turn on the ignition with all the other dash lights or will it only do this once coded? I'm not even sure were the light should be on the dash as I've seen some with it on the speedo and some with it far right in the line of lights under the dials. Carl
Cruise light is in the speedo and lights up when cruise is activated from the stalk button. I don't recall it lighting up on start-up, but I could be wrong. Mine is a 1999 with factory cruise.
As above - in the speedo and only illuminates once the button on the end of the stalk is depressed.
