I was just informed that my Cayman S is confirmed togo into production November 11th. Two weeks from now! Nice to know its birthday! Anyone else have an exact build date?

Can I ask when you placed your firm order? And this might be a dumb question, but did anyone pay less than MSRP? My dealer said thereis no negociating the price, period. Thanks Russ

My situation was such that I didn't have much wiggle room with price. Honolulu has a 6 car allocation 2 of which can be custom. There were 13 people ahead of me in the order line and they gave me a delivery date of mid April, I did not want to wait that long so I went to a mainland dealer in Beverly Hills California. That dealer told me I could have a December build and that was what I wanted. I went back to Honolulu and they told me that they could juggle a customer to a later delivery and give me his, but the price was fixed at $58,900 plus a $795 destination fee. This was just last Friday and I took it! I gave them a $1000 deposit and that was that. Now I am not so sure, maybe I could have done better. Aloha Russ

My dealer tells me my car is already in production, but hasn't given me a specific production date. Is there any way we can find this out on-line, or can that information only come from the dealer?
