Hi, I own a Carmon red 996 c4s, I know it's a rare colour but is there any way of finding out how rare?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Try Porsche Club of America site 'PCA', they list all the colours and give 'guestimation' of the rarity. https://rennbow.org/porsche-colors/CarmineRed If you meant Carmine Red...the answer is, I'm afraid, not very. Sorry.
Dont know actually numbers but Id hazard a guess at single figures globally as it would have been PTS. Also Im on a lot of 996 specific FB and instagram groups and cant say Ive seen another.
It looks like Carmona Red Metallic rates two cans of rarity on the PCA website; I've seen a couple of 911s in this shade but not many.
I've only seen one other 4S in that colour, and it may have been the same car as i think the owner was selling it. Though Orient red, which is similar, was quite popular on the narrow body 996s.
