Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello All Having a 1 month old baby i want to take her out in my 996, does anyone know how to switch off the passenger airbag in my Renault Clio it couldnt be easier with a simple switch but not in my 996, you can not put the seat in the back as it is rear facing and does not fit. I have a feeling this was mentioned sometime ago but cant remember the outcome. Looking forward to some answers. Thanks Phil

you have to buy something called a child seat deactivator kit then go to opc to alter your settings in the airbag ecu for a fee... unless you are near an indy that has tha facility to do this...
