Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi, no it's an option. It's about £400 IIRC, the model is a CDC-4, but I believe it is only a OEM'd Becker. The CDC-3 is not compatible (copper connection, versus the CDC-4 fibre/MOST). If you talk to your local ICE dealer, they will be able to supply a Becker CDC-4 at a fraction of the price of the one with Porsche stamped on the front (other than that, they're identical. Cabling should be in place, to simply connect it in. I'd be wary of buying second hand, because these units are not the most reliable and sometimes have intermittent faults (mine does, it doesn't always pick up the CDs and sometimes shows that it only has a 1 or 2 in the changer, when in fact, it's full with 6).
