Took delivery of my 54 plate C4S on Friday I have been in a wedding all weekend but came home early this morning for a drive and a good fiddle with it! My question is what are you lads doing with the SIM for the phone? Do you take it out of your mobile every time? Can I apply for a clone off Vodafone? Interested to hear what you all do, Cheers

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have PCM1...what I do, is have a PAYG O2 sim in it, and forward my mobile to the PAYG sim. I think Voda charge alittle extra for the clone...
I had the same issue 6 months ago when I got my 05 TT. I had no success in getting a dual SIM system (from Vodafone in my case). Apparently they stopped doing these due tp phone network ID problems. An alternative is to have 2 unrelated SIMs and divert from mobile to car phone on no answer. Of course you need to have two SIM accounts and pay as you go is not ideal if you want to call out regularly from both mobile and car. I was thinking of doing this, until my PCM2 decided to intermittently mute my outgoing calls. Hearing other people's problems with their PCM2s on this forum, I decided to fit a normal car phone kit, which works independently of the PCM2. The PCM2 unit does not have a phone mute terminal (despite some wiring diagrams showing one). At least mine doesn't - I checked it thoroughly. So instead I connected the phone kit to the front left dash speaker via a changeover relay. All works perfectly well. Shame Porsche's system doesn't.
