Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 2000 996 C2's left turn signal (front and rear) is not working. The right side signals, high-beam lights, etc work fine. Anyone think it is the turn signal relay instead of the switch itself?

POST 2Original post

Before you go any deeper- loosen the hazard switch on the dash and ensure that the connections are good and that the switch go on and off properly.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Everything works fine but the left turn signal. I will try a relay and if that doesn't do the trick then I guess the switch is my only other choice... I had a similar issue on a 3.2 Carrera I owned and the switch was the culprit. That switch change was a bit more complicated than this appears to be on the 996, albeit for the air bag removal. Thanks,
