Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmm pulled into my garage after a 150 miles of motorway driving today (had a full tank), everything normal on the gauges, stall the car (or so I think) pulling into garage, I re-start stall again twice and notice that the bingo light is on for fuel BUT the fuel gauge says 1/4 tank....Anyone had this little issue before? Thanks in advance Mark

POST 2Original post

C2 or C4? My money's on C4. I haven't heard of the problem you have experienced, but the saddle tank used in the C4 has some quirks. Below 19 litres (IIRC) it calculates the fuel level reading for the gauge. I would try putting at least 20 litres in the tank, and see if it sorts itself out.

POST 3Original post

I'd also be concerned as to why the car stalled three times in quick succession, unless you had a "senior moment" with the clutch?
