Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi chaps. So I have got myself a nice little novo trickle charger. At present I have wired it up so the the wires go over the top of the seal to the battery. Are there any holes that will allow me to route through the bulkhead direct to the battery. Thanks Wayne

POST 2Original post

Do you mean the bulkhead from the cabin to the battery compartment, or the one from the frunk? If the later then there is a massive rubber grommet in the far left corner (as you look at the car), drill a hole through this to pass the cables through. This is what I did!!

POST 3Original post

:yeah: Remember to slap a load of general purpose silicone sealant over the wires entering this grommet though .. it's in a wet area and you don't want water in the car ... speaking from experience here

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can someone give me a pointer? Many thanks Wayne

"If the later then there is a massive rubber grommet in the far left corner (as you look at the car), drill a hole through this to pass the cables through." Your picture is of the right corner. Try the other side......

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
