Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The levers might have been better in carbon
I dont think ive ever seen the sill covers in silver .. i like it .. if the center console is the same then thats a good combination i feel . Like you though .. i think black , carbon or not , for the levers . The downside .. you are going to have to be very careful getting in and out of the car from now on .. I can actually see you lifting passengers into the car so it doesn't get scratched lol . :thumb:
I think the levers look cool. If you want transfers for them send me an address and I'll get a set in the post. MC
Nice entrance to the car! ðŸ‘
Sill cover loooks good colour coded.
Really like it, looks great! Did you paint the sill covers yourself?
I had the centre console and seat backs also painted I will get a photo when I can, I will see if I can get some old levers and try the carbon look. I had my 997 turbo dipped in the darker look carbon on the turbo ducts, the centre console and the side sills on a black car and that looked expensive which I later sold and bought a 991 C4S not a lot of colour coding on the 991 maybe the sill covers but Im not sure if agate grey would work, with expresso the durability was the same on both, just had to be a bit care full Once you get used to being careful getting in and out its OK, no passengers though. Not sure if it needs stickers but thanks for the offer.
Just used the local paint man who has done all my cars, (Carworks Cannock) but he knows how fussy I am, the dipping was done by Wicked Coatings in Brownhills staffordshire for what it cost its worth a go, I think the levers were £40.00 the pair

I like the painted sill covers, I've not seen that before but it works really well with the other painted interior parts. Not so sure about the carbon pattern levers, but that may just be my hang up with anything fake carbon. For what it's worth I think even the real OE carbon trim looks a bit too MaxPower in a road going 996! Personally I'd colour match the levers with the painted sills as I don't think the levers necessarily need to contrast and finish with some of the transfers offered by MisterCorn. It would be one of those little mods that catch your eye and make you look twice as it could have been factory...
Yes I think silver would work better I will give it a try
