Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Finally got around to trying to stuff the inlets for the BOSE subwoofer on my 996T Coupe and found these lurking in one - anyone got any idea what they are, or shall I just pull them out? :?:

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That was my first thought, but I didn't want to assume, pull them out and then find out they're "patented sound modulators" worth £xxxx!!!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Either way, it's out now - looks like a kinder surprise plastic container, but the top half is linked to the bottom (wasn't like that in my day!). Sub is stuffed and sounds noticeably better! :thumb:

POST 6Original post

How long have you had the car & who did you buy it from?? Quite often, these kinder surprise containers are used to store drugs.... Junkies find them easy to shove up their arse to hide their 'product' just before they get nicked

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ha, well it was definitely empty!
