Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all! My first post here, just adding to the knowledge database. So, my engine mounts was worn and needed replacing. I looked here and other places without finding any good information of how much more or less vibration solids generate VS original. I ended up ordering the solid mounts from Rennline gambling on that they would not be too hard to live with. I turned out great, they are only slightly more harsh than the original(worn ones I should add). I made a small video to help others make the decision(revving from idle to around 3-4000 rpm): You Tube

POST 2Original post

Great video, thanks for posting this. Looking forward to your report after driving the car.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, so finally the white **** is gone from the roads . Took the car out on Friday and have been truly enjoying it for the weekend. On Sunday on the way back home I took some time to record the only negative(is it a negative or only character??) with the solid engine mounts. My over all impression was that there are little difference(NVH) between my worn originals and the solids. What I can say is that the solids make the car feel more predictable/linear....if that makes sense....more solid? . Mind, I'm haven't driven the car very much, I guess more experienced drivers will notice a lot more differences. Here is a small video (put on headphones): You Tube
