Hi guys and girls, Upon an overdue cleansing of the rear arch areas; I have discovered a somewhat "stippled" finish to the lip of the rear arch(s). All feels nice and smooth on the inside but the paintwork almost seems like I have rust bubbling through. After some digging it seems this may be normal, however. Is the paint thicker here (and "irregular") for protection purposes? Or should I be worried? I'd post a picture. It's dark and I'm not entirely sober. Job for tomorrow. Cheers, Lew

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just looked at mine and yes there is a dimpled finish probably under seal like on the bottom sills
Thanks, mate. I'll post a pic in the morning, just to be sure! Lew
It's normal - your sills should also be the same.
