Had a look, but can't find a DIY article. Anyone know where one is? Cheers.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

RennTech is your friend [ ] EDIT Damn - too quick for me, Richard!
Try Renntech It has most articles on there to help you - but you will have to register first. EDIT Richard is too quick for me too!!
Whilst PU's are being discussed here, I fancy getting a spare front PU to swop out now and then to remove stone chip issues and was wondering (Richard?) if the 996 C4S/Turbo front PU fits all turbo bodied cars (2002 -2005) or is there a range of part numbers of which the C4S has its own? RB
Cheers guys.
Yes - it's the same part number. The front splitter is different, but I wouldn't worry about that - they are interchangeable. A GT2 PU should fit too, if you want something a bit different. The only snag is that a new Turbo PU is £484 and the GT2 one is £1862!!!
Richard, roughly how much would a rear PU cost ?? garyw
For a 997 TT a rear PU, primer coated, is £807.47 inc VAT. 997 GT2 is £847.86.
cheers, just working out if I'd got good value for money on my insurance excess [ ] Which it looks like I did [ ] garyw
Perhaps we should weigh up the cost of Park Assist against insurance excess........... [ ] [ ]
Thanks Richard - I will stick to the Turbo front based on your info!!!! RB
