Napleton Porsche has a $259 full detail. Takes 1-2 days in duration and they claim will most certainly restore the paint luster and remove the swirl marks I have on my black paint clear coat finish. Is is this worth it? Are there better outfits that can do this for more or less money?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Good luck. I would not let them touch my paint. A quality detail, with paint correction, on a black car, with swirls, and a nano coating (like OptiCoat Pro) will be in the $1,000-$1,200 range. Go talk to Ivan at Lustra in Schaumburg. He's been doing all my Porsche the past 7 years. [phone removed]. If you only want to spend $259 I understand. Then I'd suggest you spend the $259 on your own quality tools and products, and learn to DIY.
We would need more details on what the "Full Detail" involves. You may get a wash and one-step polish for that, but not a "full detail" by anyone reputable. Nobody is going to spend 16-20 hours on your car for $259. *edit* I just realized this is a dealer, so I would absolutely not advise you to go to a dealer for a detail as you will most certainly be overcharged and possibly be worse off than you started. You are in a major area so ask/search around on Autogeek/Autopia or elsewhere for a recommendation, I'm sure there are plenty.
Agreed.....I would NOT take it to the dealer, especially a Porsche dealer.....is this the Westmont one? You figure they want to make 35% of that, so what is the guy getting it to do it?
I had mine detailed in Peoria. As mentioned, expect to spend upwards of $1000 for a proper detail. I had a 2 stg detail done with a nano coating for protection. Took about a week And IMO worth every penny and the results speak for themselves.
