Had to go to Costco today to pick up a load of stuff. Put the drinkies in the front. 2 X 24 pack of 500ml budweiser cans, 2 x 30 pack 330ml coke cans 1 box (6 bottles) of red wine. Car was totally planted to the road on the way home and looked the mutts nuts sitting about 15mm lower at the front. Thinking of leaving the stuff in the car when I get home!!! Total cost of this "upgrade" £73 quid.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Having a decent weight in the front of a 996 really improves turn-in. Two up, Nurburgring, hot weather, luggage for 7 days, the car stuck to the road like glue
My Old man told me my Grandad used to tell him to put bags of sand in the front of his tricked out Hillman Imp! Dad told me to do the same with the 996 the first day i got it! I have driven the car ferrying heavy tools around however, and it does feel better! Taran 8)
When I did my first track-day in my 993, my Instructor friend said to make sure I brimmed it with fuel and left the spare wheel and tools inside the luggage compartment. I also left a 15kg bag of dog-food in there that I had bought on my way to Silverstone - it definitely makes a difference! :thumb:
