Hello, Can anyone tell me the size and brand of good after market speakers? I want to ensure they fit right in and I can put stock grills back on. Looking for size and some brands. If anyone has any DYI on the replacement that would be great also. How difficult is this project? Thank you Anthony

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Focal are the best. And priciest. 4" I think.
I bought some 4" Hertz replacements from Car Audio Innovations ( www.cai-store.com ) complete with his trim rings, connectors, install kit, etc. They sound fabulous and were a breeze to install. In hindsight, I see no reason to spend more money on the Focal kits he sells as well.
Hertz DSK 165 or ESK 165 Range, 150 to 250$. Or Morel Tempo Ultra (~$300) line. Morel has more mellow tweeters and a nice midrange, but is more expensive than Hertz. Don't buy on eBay, many fakes.
