Hi, should my C4S have these on, or is it a GT3/Turbo thing?? Have seen cars with them on, but mine definitely doesn't have them. There are 'upgraded' GT3 scoops available for £4 so an easy purchase, but as my car isn't a GT3 and I'm not tracking it will they be overkill, or possibly even detrimental?? Thanks

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think they all should have them but the GT3 ones are and upgrade. Don't think it would do any harm to add them. *saying that my car was a turbo so I may be wrong!
Thanks Brake cooling/heating is a black-art and sometimes on the road you don't want to cool your brakes, so thought maybe they were a GT3 'track" thing..?
They'll be fine, get them fitted. Check the shields give cooling access, otherwise you might just direct air to the back of the shield. If you have PSM, rear brake cooling is also very beneficial, you can get various types, I'm fitting 997 turbo and GT3.
Some aftermarket tuning forks don't allow them to clip on properly. Could have been omitted for this reason.
Thanks, the tuning-forks are new but Mahle rather than OEM and the ducts are Design 911 aftermarket rather than OEM so they needed a tiny bit of fettling but fitted well in the end. I didn't have shields so these may be of a little benefit.
