Howdy. I'm looking at gearbox options for my 996 3.4 and wondered if anyone had fitted the early 997 box to a 996? My understanding is that they have shorter gearing than the 996 (which I like the idea of) and are the same casing (albeit with the linkages on the opposite side). Just wondered if anyone had already tried it and if so was it bolt-on, pros/cons etc. TIA
