I took my 996 tt for a long drive to France last week end and what an enjoyable experience it was. This is truly a fantastic car and it is certainly the best car that I ever had. I am surprised by how easy it is to drive and how comfortable it is. The fuel consumption also is not too bad compared to other cars such as BMWs etc. A word of warning though, the cruise control is a must have especially if one wants to keep his/her driving licence.
Echo that - bought a nice example of a midnight blue 996tt few months back and last month I decided to go on a 3 weeks crusing holidays with the wife around Europe - France, Holland, Germany, Austria , Switzerland, Luxemburg and Belgium. Fantastic. Car was brilliant, loved particulary some twisty roads in the black forest, consumption was pretty much ok - 12.5 / l in 4990 kms total is ok, if we consider that 1900 of those were made on autobahns and FAST. Confortable, joy to drive and own.
keep it up lads! all that nice talk will help our residuals :lol: I can't disagree, a blinding machine, the ultimate road tool.
