Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know I saw a link on here a few weeks back but now I can't find it (tried searching). Anyone know of lower cost source of OEM equivalent condensers?

POST 2Original post

Original condensers are made by Behr. Aftermarket but OE quality condensers from Behr are supplied by (amongst others) ECP and GSF.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for that - but someone had put up a link to an online source at a great price for oem (Behr) items...

POST 4Original post

Condensers I found that GSF wouldn't supply all models. You can find suppliers by putting the Porsche part number into Google. For me, the lowest cost supplier was http://hypershop.org/proddetail.php?prod=13550&cat=85290 but this part is for a turbo or C4S, I'm sure they'll supply parts for other models. I purchased two units and both were perfect! Ray

Thanks - that was the link I was looking for

POST 6Original post

I believe that the condenser for your car is less money, but be careful as there are cheaper parts around. make sure that you get the Behr part as it will kee your car original. OPC wouldn't be able to differentiate between a Behr and an OPC condenser as they are the same part! Get the part code off OPC for your car Ray :bandit:
