Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Which would be a better drive? Porsche 997 carrera or a car like my E60 M5 as featured in the attached video ? https://youtu.be/IGGPXGt7FWY

POST 3Original post

I've had the pleasure of owning several BMW's inclusding an E46 M3, An E93 M3 and a 330 Dinan. They were nice all purpose cars with great performance....but I lost my lust for BMW's. Hated the clutch / shifter feel in both M3's...it was numb to me. I bought a 911 and love the driving experince. It'a all about being connected. That being said, im not speaking about an everyday driver. If you need a real back seat, forget it. For weekend blasts---it's a ball ! Skip the 996 and go right to a 997.2

POST 4Original post

I've owned an M-Roadster and an M-Coupe and my current 996 C4. All were my daily drivers. Next on my list would be a 997.2 4S, maybe a Cayman GT4.
