Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Anyone know what the factory pad thickness is? I need to make sure that mine are over the 50% rule for DE. Also I have the 2.7 just in case they are different. Thank you Phillip

POST 2Original post

The brake pad material is 10mm thick. Which makes it quite easy to calculate the percentage... brad

POST 3Original post

Thanks Bro! I just finished checking them, I'm at about 80%. You'll never guess how I measured the pads, I couldn't find my little metric ruler.....I have a metric allen wrench set that had an 8mm, which fit between the rotor and the back plate with about 1.2mm clearance sweet!

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
