Hi, I have a 997.2 Cabrio and the headliner is separated from the convertible top with a loose strap. this is on both sides, will that be the only part that needs to be glued? how can i make sure i am reaching all the inner lining without dismantling to reconnect to the outer fabric? I also have a warranty but apparently this is not covered.is that so? thank you __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here: Porsche 911 Carrera Common Convertible Top Problem Repair - 996 (1998-2005) - 997 (2005-2012) - Pelican Parts Technical Article

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
