Back in November I had a new clutch fitted and a few weeks ago the pedal suddenly felt a lot heavier so I'm assuming that the slave spring has packed up. I know that in the US there are a lot of people that remove the spring but I like having it in place as the it makes the pedal feel a great deal lighter. I'm really struggling to find out how to replace the spring so I just wondered if anyone has done it and what the steps are?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
