Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Chaps, does anybody know offhand the diameter of the clamps for exhaust tips to muffler (seems to be the usual name now) thanks Alan

POST 2Original post

Exhaust pipe inner dia 54mm outer 58.5mm. The ring clamp - No more than 63-68mm? But that's a guesstimate. Put in "exhaust C clamp" into eBay search. You'll get Peugeot ones that are from £5 rather than £35 for a Porsche one! I'd go with 60mm version. I seem to remember buying 69mm ones that were too big.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the info. I did see the design911 ones but £47 + Vat each is really taking the mick and the cheap ones on there don't look up to much so Ebay it is.
