Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

So this is also an intro to the 996 group. I'm usually over on the 911 tech site with my 83 SC but I recently picked up an 03 C4S coupe from a fellow Pelican member. So I need to fix or replace the three position rocker switch located by the overhead courtesy lights that control these lights. The lights come on and go off as they should when you open and close the doors but the switch is in-op when used to turn on the interior lights directly. It also will not cancel door actuation as it should in the one position. So the question is how do I pull the light/switch assembly down for inspection? Don't have many pictures of the car yet but these were taken on the way back from Charlotte NC Saturday when I picked it up. Thanks for your help. Warren
