Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Im new on here so hello all. I recently bought a lightly damaged 2000 996 c2 and have purchased a complete front end of a 2004 c2, ive noticed that the wiring plugs for the headlights are different, i bought some 'conversion' plugs from design 911 but they are just plugs from the later car with no pins in? Anybody got any advice on what to do as they just tell me to speak to a auto electrician!! :x Cheers Adam

POST 2Original post

so much for 'conversion' plugs speak to Jasmine Porsche, who also do the conversion kits www.jasmine-motorsport.co.uk

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Spoke to them, they do a kit so ill be buying them!! Cheers

POST 4Original post

There are quite a few guys on www.renntech.org who have done this. Do a search for +headlight +conversion.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
