Hi Guys/ Gals, Just picked up my first 911 on Friday after work. And all i can say is what a car......all i want to do is drive! who needs food/sleep/ and sex (actually i need that!).. Its a 2003 C4S Seal Grey (Will post pics soon, when i stop driving it for a minute!) One question, how much and where from can i get a cd cartridge? for the changer, as it was missing when i purchased it. Went to a local car audio shop, and the guy took one look at the car, and hiked the price up to £60!!!!! Any ideas where i can get one? i know from past experience they should be around £20 odd. Thanks!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You can get the cartridge from you local OPC. IIRC they are about £25. I'm pretty sure the VW cartridges are the same item as well so it might be cheaper to give them a call and find the best price. The changer is made by Becker.
Hi, Get a Becker cartridge from a local audio shop, the only difference is that the Porsche one has PORSCHE written on it. Apart from that, they're identical (except for the Porsche mark-up!).
Badge tax, you have to love it. :hand:
A new one for a CDC4 changer is £51.88 inc VAT !! Part number 996.645.113.00
Thanks guys. Have ordered one from the states for £25 inc delivery. I think i can live without the badged version....oh the shame!
