Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I've just discovered that I've mis-placed my master key!!!!!!!!!! :x I've got both (x2) of the standard sets, but the little key (and the key tag) is missing (but somewhere in the house!!!) Is it possible to get a replacement and if so, does anyone know roughly how much? Thanks.

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Crisis over, it had slipped into the front pocket of the Porsche service book wallet!!!!! :wack:

POST 3Original post

Are you on about the plastic key? That's just a wallet key. The tag has the 'one time' activation serial number on it, a replacement new key will have it's own one that used in partnership with a PIWIS/PST2 to recode a key to alarm.

POST 4Original post

Stupid question, apart from the obvious, what the purpose of the wallet key?

POST 5Original post

It's supposed to enable you to start and drive the car. Always looked a little too flimsy to give it a go but if you've lost your keys there's a little hope.

POST 6Original post

HI, I have NO Master key, never had, bought the car second hand, is it possible to get another cut, or a normal one cut etc, I have no spare currently? Thanks Edd

POST 7Original post

Hi, Yes, take your V5 and passport to OPC or Indy - it will cost you about £150 to get a new key cut and coded. - Simon
