Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

996C4 Tip. Very occasionally on cold start, i get a lot of blue smoke. The car has no oil leaks, and has covered 45,000 miles. Any ideas ?

POST 2Original post

Very common on the 996....search for the very title of your thread and you should get a number of threads. Nothing to worry about if it is just occasionally on start up and clears immediately.

POST 3Original post

Take a look at this thread http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=35644&start=20 Is it after you've been for a spirited drive and stopped? If so could be the Oil Seperator. Or is it when you park it on a slope (sideways)? This is normal I am led to believe.
