Happened Sunday so I drove to the closest shop for diagnostic today... Ha, P0421: Warm up Catalytic converter efficiency below threshold bank… a few here had this issue already. The shop has never seen this code before and since I am going out of the country tomorrow I will just let it sit and take care of it when I am back… at the shop I usually go to! They cleared the code for now and told me to see if it comes back Probably time for new cats, gaskets and manifolds…

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Same code here. I reset it several time and it keeps coming-up. Had it assessed by my local dealer today. He diagnosed the problem as a bad O2 sensor. I advised him that there were reported problems with the early 400 cell cats. He had no knowledge. Sensor has been ordered, and he will verify with Porsche Canada to see if what I stated had value. To be continued.....
FYI the SNAP FLASH will fix this problem for you, either by letting you load the latest Porsche software with its O2 programming changes, or by disabling the 2nd OS sensors so the code doesn't trip.
