Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Not really a complaint, but a factory remote open would be nice and a top that doesn't require the old school latch...other than that...it's perfect

POST 2Original post

Yeah I know that bugs the Mods4Cars guys because other cars like Mercedes they can auto-drop without having to release a manual latch first. Not sure why Porsche hasn't gone to an automatic latching mechanism or at least made it an option.

POST 3Original post

I’m afraid it would just add one more thing to break. Porsche is probably just trying to cut down on weight. It would be nice although.

POST 5Original post

Hell, I'm just happy that I don't have to snap a boot into place as I did with my '02 Audi TT. The latch is no big deal.

POST 6Original post

I'm figuring with an automatic latch, I can at least open the top before getting into the car....
