Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys There is a connector for the 996.2 Tiptronic box on the drivers side, a curved end rectangle about 1.5" across. For the life of me I cannot get it back together. It has a bright pink elongated horse shoe, internally serrated clip that goes in through an opening in the side of the connector. I am a veteran of many stupidly designed clips on cars, but this one has me stumped No matter what I do, clip in, out it will not go together. The male end also has a strange pink serrated part inside. If noone knows how it goes together, then I will take some pictures tomorrow assuming I can get the car high enough to get underneath. Thanks in advance Berni

Maybe a clue in this forum around post #6 https://rennlist.com/forums/996-for...d-eps-ims-upgrade-kit-write-up-with-pics.html 👍👍 I have just had my engine and transmission out so disconnected the cable's, certainly not a problem as I cannot really remember them, so they literally came apart and went back together :dont know:

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
