Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That stuff is crazy and its pretty much sold out in the UK at the moment. If they extend the range of colours in the UK vinyl wrap will disappear.

POST 2Original post

Linky linky ? I know what wrap is but haven't heard of this plasti dip spray!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Its spray paint that requires hardly any prep (just clean) and like Vinyl wrap it can be fairly easily removed. Some of the results are very good. Just look at some Vids on youtube seach for plasti dip. Its not a permanent fix but neither is Vinyl. Its a shame that over here we are limited on colors, In the states they have got all the metallics as well.

POST 4Original post

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7uT4dTMUEA&feature=relmfu Not sure how it would cope with stone chips here in UK. I imagine the front would look awful after a couple of months.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have seen it after months and it looked no worse than the OEM finish suffers and it can just be peeled off and re-done.

POST 6Original post

I saw the you tube vids for this stuff when i wanted to do my wheels. Are there any UK distributors for this? I also saw a whole car being sprayed including the doors handles in one go. The result was pretty good. Not sure if I would do it though.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
