I am looking for sway bars and came across a great deal for a set of 997.2 gt3 sway bars. The seller says they will fit a 996.1 C2 with no issues. Is that true?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My understanding is they won't. Has to be a 996.
Get GT3 sways and drop links.
separated by 3 generations of 911 & gt3 vs. c2 seems like a stretch. H&R adjustables are nice if those don't work out.
Just to clarify, the 996 GT3 sway bars are the ones you want.
I'm pretty sure im just going to go with a 26mm front and 23mm rear H&R setup.
I put the H&R's (3 hole adjustable) on my C4 a short time ago (regular sways are the M030). It's now very flat through corners, albeit a bit harsher on bumpy roads. FWIW, I'm ok with the trade-off at least for the time being. I'll make a final judgement after I drive it more over the spring/summer season.

This is what I went with, although my info has the rear at 22mm, hollow adjustable. I'm 100% happy with it for a 70/30 street/track car, along with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Bilsteins. I have the rear bar on the middle stiffness setting for now; I think going full stiff might make the car struggle to put down power leaving slower corners since I don't have an LSD. I'm sure the track nuts will pooh-pooh the setup but it works for me.
The number one most important thing with a car setup is that it gives the driver confidence.
Well I just ordered the H&R sway bars. 26 front 23 rear. I machined my own solid drop links and they will be going on with freshly rebuilt RS1 coilovers.
Same sways I have. Both front and rear are on the middle setting and the car is very stable at speed and at the limit when cornering. Enjoy-
I have them too , couldn't be happier
anyone have a good price on the sways? i need to order some to put on with my new coilovers
I just ordered mine through tire rack. Best price I could find. 600 for the pair. Very fast shipping and easy to deal with.
ECS has them(H&R adjustable) for $561 w/free shipping (mine's a C4 so price may vary)...
I have a C2. The prices were different for for some reason I found it much harder to find them for a C2
I think the sway bars for the C2 are the two hole adjustable ones... See here: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...it-26mm/70513/ https://www.ecstuning.com/b-h-and-r-...it-23mm/71513/ (says 2 hole but shows 3)
