Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi, this is my first post. I'm in conversations with a couple of larger local dealers about ordering a new Turbo S, first finding out if they have an allocation coming in so I can do so. How much would it be reasonable for me to ask or expect off MSRP? Thanks in advance for your help.

You may have answered your own question! Allocation? If no allocation, obviously no car. If allocations are scarse, expect full price. If you are a previous customer should be a discount. As a previous customer, I got offered a 991 GT3 at list. No discount on a 991 Targa. 5% on a 991.2 C4S which I took. Dealer had two allocations open last December. 4% on a 981 Boxster on Jan 2. Best day of the year to purchase a Cabriolet! Conversations are nice but if you go checkbook in hand, you will find out. I never have conversations. I go fully prepared with exactly what i want, what I can afford. Takes about 15 minutes.-Richard

When I bought my Cayman, the local dealer had an arrangement that county medical society members got 3% off.
