Hi all I am trying to get hold of a new set of nipples for my REAR 996 calipers as they are being refurbed and powder coated. Any ideas where I can get some without going to the main dealer? Mike

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I would imagine they would be a fairly standard thread & taper so you should be able to get them from demon tweeks, trident racing supplies at Silverstone or Grand Prix Racewear. You might need to take a few measurements from an old one though. Are they so expensive from an OPC?
They are standard Brembo calipers so finding a bleed nipple shouldn't pose too much of a problem at GPR et al.
I dont suppose anyody knows what thread it has? I just rang Demon Tweeks and they asked that. They also said that I could find this out on a CAD drawing
Did they offer you any choices? Maybe go 50/50 or even ask a friend?
Try calling Steve Tuckey at Grand Prix Racewear, he is the UK Brembo motorsport guy 01327 855307, he sells us caliper parts for our race cars (pistons, seals etc.)
