Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Are you sure you're not confusing the issue with the auto cut-out feature? Can't remember the speeds but at 35-50mph (?) the sports exhaust reverts to normal and then back again outside the designated speed bracket. ~ Maxie PS. Welcome to 911uk
no I'm aware of the auto functions of the exhaust. Its the manual switch that if you switch it off and then try and switch it back on it doesn't switch. Cheers 4 reply
The switch controls a vacuum down to the baffler, which opens and shuts a valve. You'll probably find that this is either blocked, or needs a spray of WD-40.
