Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Turbo Wheel Arch Kit (Steel x4) Turns standard cars into wide bodied Turbo look Price:£577.50 exc VAT £678.56 inc VAT http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/porsche_911_body_styling.html Just seen the above at Porsche Shop, seems very cheap for 4 panels to give the Turbo look on a 930. Does anyone know if its possible (and as easy/cheap?) to do for my 996 C2, into C4S/Turbo look? Edd[/img]

POST 2Original post

Given that 996 prices seem to be in freefall, and allowing for the costs of parts and labour to do a good job which I doubt would be insignificant, wouldn't you be better off simply selling the C2 and buying a C4S?

POST 3Original post

I agree with Ghost, it's money you'd never see again. The Yanks are heavily into this, for some reason they think the wide flabby arse of the Turbo looks better than the slender athletic bum of the GT3 :hand: :wack:

POST 4Original post

There were a couple for sale on Pistonheads recently, probably still there... :hand:

POST 5Original post

Cheeky Here is a pic of a GT3 next to a Turbo. Which has the best arse?

POST 6Original post

Don't know about arses but one of those cars has a well dodgy number plate :floor:

POST 7Original post

Ssssshhhhhh.....you can hear a pin drop in here....... ~ Maxie :dontknow:

POST 8Original post

It does look slightly flabby next to that slender GT3 arse :bandit:

POST 9Original post

I never noticed the size of the rear lights on the turbo body'd cars ! they are huge ! ....cough...GT3......has the better rear..

POST 10Original post

GT3 - no question  The Mk1 rear spoiler is pure automotive sculpture IMO, and the main reason I went for my aerokitted car...

POST 11Original post

Wattie, you are a man of good taste ! But what if there was a MK2 :yuk: GT3 parked there ? :joker: :joker:

POST 12Original post

I must admit that I have not really seen too much of the GT3 rear end. Usually it is too far behind me .

POST 14Original post

Have to say - Dave your car is massive. Got the CD of the Alp trip pics and my car next to yours looks like 3/4's scale.........
