Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Litronic are Porsche's fancy name for Xenon HID (High Intensity Discharge) lights. Xenon bulbs are simply bulbs with Xenon gas inside that helps the filament burn brighter and at a slightly different (cooler) temperature. HID Xenon bulbs (eg, D2R) has Xenon gas inside a capsule that a high voltage spike ignites across an arc. That's why on HID lighting, startup requires high voltage to ignite the arc and it appears to 'grow' in intensity.
