Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

AT LAST!!! This is a blatant plug, and probably goes against forum rules, but I dont care!! I have been asked so many times about when it will be out, it is a relief to have an answer for you! It is finally printed, and will be available from 27th April. It is on the PMM Books web site for pre-order at http://www.pmmbooks.com I'm very pleased with the way it has turned out, and a big thanks to everyone who helped me out.

POST 2Original post

Do you get PCGB discount on the book?[ ] Actually jokes aside, its a small price to pay for such a vast amount of information. Will be ordering mine. Start practicing your autograph!!!

POST 18Original post

I am trying to organise a slot at waterstones for Richard to do his book signing. Only slot I can get for Richard is after Rihanna

POST 19Original post

ALL, Just a thought..... IF Richard is attending Silverstone Classic or National Event at Chateau Impney in August could PCGB not arrange a book signing in acknowledgement for all the effort he has put in to this & indeed his input on the forum? Any thoughts by popular demand..... Paul

POST 20Original post

I was thinking along the same lines, if Richard doesn't mind writers cramp then its a great idea

POST 21Original post

Well done indeed ,although not a 996 owner any more .I have always found Richards input in the forum most informative and always around to answer all those questions . Regards Brian

POST 22Original post

The book looks great and appears to be a real labour of love Richard. I hope it sells well and if you are signing and selling at the Silverstone Classic I will definitely pick one up

POST 24 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know what you guys are thinking. You think that a signed copy will have a better residual value! [ ] I plan on going to the Classic on the Saturday. (Note to self: order ticket). Maybe we could meet up at the Club stand. I'll bring my trusty Parker.

POST 26Original post

POST 41Original post

Preordered today will await the book signing bit Richard

POST 42 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The books are scheduled for delivery to PMM Books on Friday (28th). I am trying to arrange to go there on Saturday, to pre-sign all those on here who have requested a signature. If there is anyone else, let me know and I'll do yours too. I thought it would be better to do that than do it at Silverstone, because some of you may not be there.

POST 43Original post

Hi Richard, If your there do mine please its pre-ordered under Bradshaw. Looking forward to reading it. Rgds Brad

POST 49 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks chaps! [ ] Looks like it is on for Saturday, subject to the delivery tomorrow. Towards the end of ply tomorrow I'll post up a complete list, so you can check you are on it. I feel a touch of writer's cramp coming on....... [ ] I also need to top up the Parker.

POST 50Original post

Congratulations Richard, and well done. I would also like a signed copy but unfortunately can't get to either of the signings as am "up North"! How about a countrywide tour as with all the famous writers! I'm sure we could accomodate you in WHSmith in York. Where else can we "humble" porkers purchase this long-awaited bible? Would it not be available in the PCGB Shop (with the obligatory 10% discount of course) A big "Thank You" from everyone associated with this forum and beyond. John

POST 51Original post

when the royalties flood in you'll be able to trade your Parker in for a Mont Blanc[ ]

POST 52 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

John, you can order it on-line at http://www.pmmbooks.com Not trying to be pushy, but if you order it today, I will sign it tomorrow morning before it is despatched. So far, it might cover the petrol for getting to Marlborough and back on Saturday (or maybe not.....) [8|]

POST 53Original post

Does that mean all of us northerners get it signed as we pre ordered it?

POST 54Original post

Right, Richard Ordered my copy now under the name John Bushby I would appreciate an authentic autograph and will cherish it forever. Looks like this will make you redundant on this forum now looking at all the people who have bought "the book" Thanks again John

POST 55 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Here is the list I have so far for signing tomorrow. If you have pre-ordered, and your name isn't on the list, please add a post to this thread, or drop me an email. POST 56Original post

What I should of mentioned is that i have already preordered the book from the website you mentioned originaly, but i'm based up north and am a bit far away to visist for a signing.

POST 57 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Don't panic Chris. I'm just going to sign the pre-ordered books before they are sent out to you all.

POST 59Original post

POST 64Original post

Hi Richard I have pre ordered, please add me to you list.....Roy Greenslade Thanks

POST 65Original post

Hi Richard I pre ordered mine a while ago, please sign if I am not too late, it is under Eddie Terry thanks.

POST 66 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Only partial success, I'm afraid. Peter's wife had already posted some of the pre-orders I didn't know about, about 30 minutes before I arrived. The ones I missed were: Alex Bell John Bushby Roy Greenslade Martin Steer Alan Laing Eddie Terry If you would like them signed. I would be happy to do it. The easiest way would be to post them to me (email me for my address) and I'll return them same day, although that might not be a practical proposition for Alex....... Edit: If you ordered last night or this morning, drop PMM an email, requesting a signed copy - I left 10 or so with them.

POST 67Original post

Bit late for the signing on 28th. Where is Wiltshire anyway?

POST 68Original post

Got my signed copy from Richard. Well chuffed and what a superb looking book. Now..... Where are my screwdrivers?

POST 74Original post

Got my signed copy today. Great book. My grubby fingers even make a cameo appearance on page 58 - made my day!

POST 75Original post

Just logged in here for the first time since about Christmas (!) Brilliant to see the book is out Richard - I'll have to order a copy from Peter. I see you took a little less time writing yours than I did mine - Bet Peter was relieved!
