What does your temp gauge say? Maybe you need a thermostat. Sounds like yours may not be opening. I assume you have coolant in the system?
hey themostat looks ok.....on cold - it operates fine on "hot" - the air still comes cold collant is ok. what can be the solution? tnx gal
Not the temperature controls inside the car. I'm talking about the thermostat on the engine that circulates water through the cooling system. Is your engine getting warm? When it reaches 180° it's supposed to open in send water to the radiator and bring in cooler water etc. that's where your heating system obtains the heat for the cabin.

hey tony i am not sure now. can i write to your personal email? thanks
and - yes - engine is getting very hot.... but only cold air gets into the car...in the summer its ok...but now i am freezing !
Thermostat for sure. Sounds like it isn't opening. PM me if you want to chat offline.
If you're not circulating to the rad then you can overheat the engine and damage the heads. This needs attention right away.
How many miles on the car? Could also be a water pump failure. The vanes are plastic and have a life span of about 60,000 miles. After that they can break apart and send bits into the engine. If coolant isn't circulating, it's not good.
