Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking for a plastic cover for the hardtop mechanism on my 996. The equivalent on a 986 boxter is 20 quid, but i can't find a 996 plastic cover thingy for less than 100. Any ideas?

POST 2Original post

Not sure I know what you mean but if you are referring to the small circular plastic blanks that cover where the hardtop connects then just call a Porsche agent.. Mine were missing when I bought my car.. £20 or less from Lovetts in Bristol Hope that helps Johnny

POST 3Original post

That's the Boxster one. 996 is more expensive (as already stated). https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174522724120
