My car went in for 2 recalls (one being the slave cylinder, I don't know the other). I noticed when washing the car this weekend that the right hand side impact absorber plate is no longer there. I could swear that either side of the car had this plate (or am I imagining myself). I had a look on the technical diagrams and they do not make mention of this plate. I understand that the right hand side is the "exhaust" side for cooling the car. I can remember on several occasions that the fan would blow quite loudly when in traffic. Does anyone know if Porsche are removing these plates because of potential overheating?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

No plates were ever there, that side has no plate...
Thanks - I must have been dreaming. Need to get my memory checked.
