When I got my 2001 C4 earlier in the year the clutch was ridiculously heavy. Last week I bit the bullet and had a 3 part Sachs clutch fitted and I'm bloody glad I did. This clutch is nearly as light as the one on my wife's Fiat 500 and the car just feels like a different machine. When I got the car I just assumed that the heavy clutch was to be expected on a C4, but I was very very wrong and I'd recommend getting a Sachs fitted.
Enjoy it whilst it lasts. Not long before it'll be heavy again.
