Hi I am trying to tackle some sound/rattle issues and came across this video regarding one trim part https://youtu.be/W5A6u-h6uNU At around 40s+ you see there is a foam moulding behind his trip. I don't have this on my 996.2 tt coupe. Is this standard or aftermarket. If aftermarket does anyone know why these were installed by people? Regards Karl

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's a standard part, I have it on my 98 C2 though mine stays behind when i pull the cover off.
Yep found a part number: 99655658100 Seems some but not all models have these....might still be useful to squish one in. Karl
