This is a high tech question for the group. I am tired of looking at the scuffed-up scuff plate at the door sill on a 2007 C2S. Black plastic. Over $200/side for a new one from the dealer. Anyone know a way to clean up the scuff marks? A mild abrasive?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Jeff, I removed the driver's side, sanded and sprayed a satin black on them, right now I don't remember who's paint I used. However they look original and seem to clean up just fine.
