hey there i'm picking up a cayman s this week and i have learned there is no iPod integration, which was a problem i had on my 06 M45 infiniti. im a bit bummed considering my 400 gigs of music i have collected is much better than the cd changer idea. a few questions- does the bose have mp3 playback capability for more songs on a disc? any ideas? i was going to opt for the bose and changer but i dont necessarily think ill get the navi. im ok with picking up a garmin or other aftermarket for 1/10th of the cost. thanks, chris

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

chrisless, Welcome to the site. A search on iPod would reveal that there is the aftermarket Dension unit that does allows the integration of an iPod, and with the Porsche PCM/Nav it integrates with the menus and works pretty well. Otherwise with the PCM/Nav unit you can play MP3 or WMA files on a single CD, but NOT in the changer. Bose and the Changer would be the wrong way to go if you want to play iPod or MP3's. Bose is definitely the wrong way to go if you want to go aftermarket stereo or other integration as well.
