Installation of Chrome Plated Tailpipes

Information:
The standard tailpipes can now be replaced with chrome plated tailpipes (New vehicle Exclusive option number X54). Installation of the tailpipes does
not affect engine performance, emissions, or noise of the vehicle.

16 mm open end wrench

Raise vehicle to working height.

Preparatory work, and removing standard tailpipes.
1.2
Remove both standard tailpipes.
1.3
Remove both clamps, widen them and fit them on the outlet pipes of the mufflers again.
2.0
Fit both chrome plated tailpipes.
2.1
Insert conical flange of the tailpipe underneath the clamp on the associated muffler.
2.2
Roughly align the tailpipe and clamp with respect to the muffler. Tighten screw slightly.
2.3
Align chrome plated tailpipes as described.
